Class displays and events

See below some of our engaging displays and curriculum events

Class 1 - Mrs Hartley

Welcome to Class 1. We are housed in the mobile and have a dedicated outdoor learning area. We implement the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage which covers the prime and specific areas for learning – communication and language, physical development, personal, social and emotional development, literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, expressive arts and design. Assessments are based on daily activities and events, noting the learning which takes place spontaneously, independently and consistently. We have recently introduced Read, Write, Inc as our phonics scheme. It is a well regarded programme and more information can be found here We have access to up to date technology including a smart screen and class ipads. Our Foundation Stage curriculum overview for this year is available via our documents tab
