Ullesthorpe Church of England Primary School

Miss Tatman - Year 5/6 support

This is my first full time position since completing my degree at Nottingham Trent University this year. However, I am experienced in working in many school settings due to the various placements I have attended throughout this course, and previously as part of my College studies. I also had the opportunity to volunteer to work in a school in Sri Lanka, which was amazing.

As a Learning Support Assistant in Year 5/6 I am really looking forward to working closely with the children in my class. I am looking forward to my new role which I see as being varied and open to change from one day to the next, or even on an hourly basis. I hope to be able to be flexible in my approach to supporting the children and to utilise all that I have learned over the last few years. It may be challenging at times but I have always wanted to work with children and be able to assist them with their development, helping them to grow, whilst making their learning enjoyable.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, running and socialising with family and friends. An interesting fact about myself is that I am a triplet, with 2 “older” brothers!
