We understand that you may be concerned that we have opened up sites for children
with both parents as key workers or sole parents who are a key worker.
We are opening up the two sites to help as part of the national response
- this will be a different type of provision than schools usually provide - it is now about care.
The responsibility for offering places lies with the Trust - it is vital that we prioritise access to the provision but also have to take into account whether we have enough
staff to care for the children in our reduced provision.
Additionally, the latest advice from the Government is for parents and carers to keep their
children at home, wherever possible. to enable us to remain open only for those children
who absolutely need to attend.
If children can stay safely at home they should in order to limit the chance of the virus spreading.
