At Ullesthorpe CE Primary School, we value parental support with children's attendance and punctuality.
The children can come into school from 8.45am each day but should all be seated and ready to start their first task by 8.55am every day. Any child arriving after this time should go directly to the office and will be marked as late in the register. Please note that gates will be locked at 8.55am and access will be through the main pedestrian gate using the buzzer. Any lates will be recorded by the office. If children are late for school, they often miss out on important work and instructions for the day. All schools must closely monitor punctuality as well as attendance.
Attendance Leads:
Mrs J Allen - Head of School
Mrs Z Kirby - Family Support Worker
Support for improving attendance is available at our school. If you are having difficulty getting your child into school or getting into a positive routine at the start of your day, our pastoral team can help. We also have details and guidance available from different services which are there to help so please do not be afraid to get in touch. It is really important that children arrive at school on time so that they can start the school day positively.
