Welcome to 'PE' at Ullesthorpe CE Primary School!
Across the hub we are fortunate enough to have Real PE practitioners working with us in developing our PE curriculum and teaching methods. The programme puts a focus on 6 cogs of: personal, social, creative, health and fitness, physical and cognitive development and we aim to help children understand the importance of each through physical activity and playing games. Children can now be supported at home through the 'Real at Home' activities - find lots of fun activities for all the family to enjoy by logging in!
As a school we are also part of the South Leicestershire School Sports Partnership, a wonderful not for profit organisation that our hub is working alongside, who provide opportunities for children to develop personal and sports leadership skills as well as take part in competitions across the local area.
Each month on the school newsletter there will be a section dedicated to the well-being of our school community and this includes PE. Please keep an eye out for this.
PE provides fundamental skills for life long learning and holds a high profile within our school.
